The sun high in the sky, your shoes covered in dirt, and your better half underneath the power awning of the 2011 Open Range Light 275RLS travel trailer, a burger flipped at the camp kitchen upon your return. What else could you want? Perhaps an icy cold drink from the fridge to reset your body before heading back out, doing whatever it is you do out in the wild. At the end of your day, crawling inside, toss those soiled clothes in the washer (only washer/dryer prep in unit) and kick up your feet in the leather theatre seats, the electric fireplace in the entertainment centre keeping your toes warm as your spouse does their own thing on the couch.
In the morning, as the birds sing high in the trees, you’ll throw the covers from the queen bed off your body and stammer to the bathroom, the steam from the standing shower fogging up the mirror above the spacious vanity. Slipped into new clothes, you and your partner waltz about the kitchen, pulling ingredients for homemade pancakes from the pantry to whisk at the kitchen island, measuring out water from the farmhouse-style sink by eye. Into the pan atop the 3-burner stove the batter goes before plating it at the free-standing dinette. Now you just need a glass of OJ from the fridge.
Your other half heads out first, setting up the exterior entertainment (no TV setup at this moment). Don’t forget to grab your hat at the entryway counter as you sneak out under the blistering sun, the exterior pass-through holding what you need for today’s adventure.
