Here it comes, rounding the bend. Yes, there it is. The McPherson’s 2017 Sprinter 29FK travel trailer perusing the countryside, sunlight sparkling through the trees as they head to their campsite. What a beautiful day for a relay. Pulling in, Mrs. McPherson gets out to direct, and… by golly! There was not a single fight—you don’t see that every day. Oh, but it looks like they have company with a few clouds rolling in. Wow, the unfurled that awning in no time, it looks like they’ll be having a cuppa joe during the rain without a single drop on ‘em.
Inside the tag team the front kitchen, the Mrs. yanking fresh veggies and meat from the fridge while Mr. McPherson chops on the wide countertops (just look at that pristine knife action). He passes it over to his partner who stirs it all together on the 3-burner stove. Oh no, it looks like they’ve forgotten something, but thinking on their feet they reach deep into the pantry for some spices and dump those in. Dinner is saved as they make it to the homestretch at the free-standing dinette, just the dishes in the dual sink left. They deserve that rest in the living area as Mr. McPherson flips on the TV (not tested) in the entertainment centre and kicks back on the rocker while the Mrs. curls up on the sofa-bed crocheting.
But this isn’t the end for them yet, they need to wash up and prepare for tomorrow. I hear it’s gonna be a scorcher. The convenience of the dual entry bathroom allows them to slip in and out with ease, going from the standing shower to the dresser for PJ’s, and back again. And very soon after, the rain still drumming steadily, they slip under the covers of the slide-out queen bed. What a wonderful end to a magnificent start to this camping trip. Oh, we should probably leave them be now.
