Day one was kayaking. Day two was up the mountains and back down again. Day three was wildlife spotting. As the darkness of the woods, soothing, creeps into the RV, they saunter over to the front bedroom and slip under the covers of the queen bed. It takes a moment for them to fall asleep, not because they can’t, but because they can’t stop chatting—they never run out of things to talk about or plan.
