The lake lapped and whispered with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson perched in their folding chairs, palms cupping steaming coffee, and their 2022 Cedar Creek 311RL fifth wheel casting a welcoming shadow upon them. Their dog Lucy, clipped to the leash latch up front, detonated a sharp bark at a squirrel who dares show its face. Then the laughter rose, and with it, the thundering steps of their grandchild—Claire and Tony—mud caked into their hair and the fabric of their clothes. Fret not, Grandma thinks to herself.
