You’ll find yourself somewhere you can’t believe is still the country you’ve known your entire life—the 2014 Wildcat Maxx 317RL fifth wheel dragged behind you. Settle in, lowering the power leveling jacks and unfurling the power awning before parking your butt near the fire. You’ll take the bikes off the rear storage rack tomorrow, tonight is for relaxing. After all, you have a camp kitchen complete with mini-fridge, 2-burner stove, plus a portable BBQ stashed away for a reason (so you don’t have to go inside just for a snack).
Though as the day progresses, the clouds roll in and you’re forced to head inside. Oh no, poor you. The electric fireplace in the entertainment centre flickers to life as your significant other perches on the couch, craft in hand while you command the kitchen. Meat from the fridge, with a pinch of seasoning from the pantry, and sizzling atop the 3-burner stove. Don’t forget to wash the potatoes in the dual sink before peeling (tossing the peels in the built-in counter garbage chute) and boiling. Set the free-standing dinette and make sure to retrieve a few drinks from the hidden cabinet. After supper, take advantage of the rear rockers and indulge in a good book.
And before you know it, it’s bedtime. The standing shower in the walk-through bathroom (perfect for those late night trips) encapsulates you as you rinse the day off before slinking into PJs from the wardrobe and slipping under the covers of your slide-out queen bed. Have a few guests? The couch converts to a bed and this unit even comes with an air mattress for the little ones that scamper about. With such an RV, you’ll be wondering how you camped any other way.
