Snickers Baked Oats Breakfast Bowl
This easy breakfast option brings dessert to a warm and (semi) healthy meal!
Equipment:
- Measuring cups/spoons
- Microwave safe bowl
- Blender
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup oats
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 150 ml milk (about ⅔ cup)
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- Chocolate chips (lots)
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a blender (a nutribullet or other single serving blender is great for this) and blend until mostly smooth, you will still see oat pieces.
- Pour into a microwave safe mug or bowl, leaving a bit of room at the top for it to rise while cooking and stir in some chocolate chips
- Microwave uncovered for 2-3 minutes
- Top with more peanut butter and chocolate chips to serve (be careful, it will be hot)!
