Banff National Park
Banff is one of the top locations you’ll want to visit at least once in your lifetime, and it’s perfect for a little romantic getaway. Besides the restaurants and spas in the town proper, you can take a lift up the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain to see some of the most spectacular views in the Rockies.

Miette Hot Springs

Miette Hot Springs are the hottest in the Canadian Rockies, located in Jasper National Park. The hot springs are a great place to unwind after a day of hiking and also feature an on-site cafe during certain seasons. They offer amazing views while you relax together.
Heart Creek, Alberta
The name itself lends to making this the most romantic hike in Alberta. Located in the Bow River Valley, the Heart Creek trail will lead you across a scenic tour ending in a panoramic view of Heart Mountain. Perfect for an easy trek for the two of you while enjoying the peace and beauty of the area.
Lake Louise
Lake Louise is an incredible year-round destination. In the summer you can take a swim or canoe for some special quality time amongst the romantic scenery. In the winter you can skate together across the lake or even take a sleigh ride together and view the frozen waterfalls.
Icefields Parkway
Looking for something a little different? Embark on the Icefields Parkway self-drive across the Rockies and stop at some of the scenic views for pictures, picnics, or short hikes to viewing platforms including one to the glacier-fed Peyto Lake. You’ll be able to see some of the highest mountains in the Rockies during this drive, with over 100 visible glaciers and numerous waterfalls with incredible wildlife-watching opportunities. If you’re looking to tie the knot, Pyramid Lake is one of the most popular destination wedding locations with its clear water and incredible mountain scenery for you to exchange vows.
Fernie
Another premier destination known for its beauty and serenity, visit Island Lake near Fernie where there’s actually an area here known as ‘I Do Point’ where many couples over the years have held their wedding ceremonies. with the awe-inspiring Lizard Range of the Rockies as their backdrop.
