Easy Overnight Cinnamon Buns
Quickly throw this together right before bed to be put in the oven in the morning and enjoy some delicious easy cinnamon buns with breakfast!
Equipment:
- 25cm Bundt pan, or equivalent size deep baking dish
- This recipe calls for a bundt pan, however we understand that’s not feasible for all. In that case you can use a different round baking dish, the main caveat being that it’s deep.
Ingredients:
- 20 frozen dough balls
- 1 cup brown cougar
- Full 153g box instant vanilla pudding powder OR 2 boxes of 102g
- Second option gives the buns a ‘creamier’ flavor, first allows for more cinnamon forward
- 1-2 tbsp cinnamon
- ½ cup melted butter
- ¾ cup raisins (optional)
Instructions:
- Grease your pan with butter,
- In a separate bowl mix brown sugar, pudding powder and cinnamon (and optional raisins)
- Pour some of the sugar mix in the bottom of the pan with a couple tablespoons of butter. This will help all the buns become coated.
- Place the dough balls evenly in the pan, then pour the rest of the sugar mix overtop. Pour the rest of the butter overtop.
- Leave the pan on the counter overnight with a clean, damp towel on top.
- In the morning preheat your oven to 350° and bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
- Let sit to cool for about 5 minutes before serving!
