Easy Layered Crab Dip
Serve this with crackers, pretzels, or tortilla chips. It takes minutes to put together and makes for a great snack with friends.
Equipment:
- Shallow serving dish (around 10 oz)
- Bowl and spoon for mixing
- Can opener
- Measuring cups/spoons
Ingredients:
- 8 oz of spreadable cream cheese
- 1 tbsp grated onion
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 ½ tsp lemon juice
- ½ cup cocktail sauce
- 1 can chunk crab meat (7 oz)
- 2 tbsp minced fresh parsley (or ½-1 tbsp dry)
- Black pepper, for topping
- Old Bay seasoning, for topping (optional)
- Assorted crackers, crostini, pretzels, tortilla chips; for serving
Instructions:
- Mix cheese, onion, Worcestershire, and lemon juice together.
- Spread cheese mix evenly in the shallow serving dish
- Spread cocktail sauce on top in even layer
- Drain and rinse crab and spread over cocktail sauce layer.
- Sprinkle with parsley and pepper to taste, as well as optional Old Bay. Serve with assorted crackers of choice.
Notes: If you make this in advance, store it in the fridge with the dish covered in saran or tin foil. Best served the same day as prepared.
