This 5 slide, lux 2014 Sierra 355RE is a wonderful rig for two, however you vacation. Park and stay in comfort with all your home amenities whether it’s a long haul or weekend break.
At the front of this coach, the master suite has the bedroom and bathroom side by side, and we must start here because good lord look at that bathroom, it’s nicer than most hotels! A huge vanity with two (yes TWO) sinks, a couple corner shelves and a bunch of storage under the counter. Finished off with a corner shower and toilet opposite. It has dual entries, one from the hall and the other into the bedroom.
Take a load off in the queen bed; that mattress is so tempting, just a perfect nap zone. There’s a big wardrobe in the front cap with mirrored doors and a shoe shelf inside, a dresser is across from the bed and really this is such a comfy space it’s a wonder you’ll ever want to leave.
At the back of the rig is the living and dining space, with living area framed by windows in each of the slides and at the back. The sofa of this rig has been replaced with a modern futon couch, with a set of theater style recliners opposite. The entertainment center at the rear has a spread of cabinets, a fireplace, and a pop-up TV, so you can enjoy the view or make use of the CD/DVD stereo and Blu-ray player.
Finally, the massive kitchen has a huge spread of counter space, to the point where you might not even need to make use of the molded covers for the double basin sink. Along with all the cabinets, some of which have lovely glass doors, there’s an 8 cu-ft fridge, 3-burner stove, 22” oven, and microwave. All to serve those who take a seat at the free-standing dinette.
Now we will be up front with some of the bumps and bruises on this one. There are scuffs on some of the cabinets, wear and tear on the dining table with a spot on the carpet in the mid-living area, and the rear slide facing was repaired by the previous owner.
