The 2011 Palomino Stampede S-216 is a funky telescopic coach. Now that sounds weird but hear me out: length over width. That doesn’t sound any better…
What I’m trying to say is that this rig has a fabulous rear slide with the king bed for an ultra plush experience. It’s got storage overhead and under; you’ll see a lot of that in this coach.
In front of the bed, the L-dinette and convertible sofa sit across from each other. You can easily remove the table to make this a big, open lounge area when you have guests!
Moving forward, the galley kitchen beside the entry is equipped with all the essentials: 6 cu-ft fridge, stove, oven, microwave, and dual-sided sink. There’s cabinet storage above and drawers below, and the stove has a cover to allow for more counter space.
At the very front of the rig, you’ve got a single-over-double bunk set up, with a privacy curtain and personal cubby storage – plus a cabinet under the double bunk. The bathroom is next door and has its own unique set-up making use of its space with a step-tub shower, vanity with extended counter space for storage underneath, toilet, and mirrored medicine cabinet.
Are you going to fit the whole extended family in this rig? Probably not. Do you want to? Absolutely not – you can’t spend that much time with your mother-in-law!
Now there is a small crack on the body of this rig on the back corner, but it’s itty bitty – of course we’re happy to show you other rigs if that bugs you at all, no worries!
This unit also comes with ducted A/C, CD/DVD player, TV, exterior shower, BBQ, manual awning, manual stab jacks (brand new heavy duty in the rear), soft close door, pass-thru storage, spare tire, a DSI water heater (6-gal), and upgraded converter.
