We’re heading out in style in this 2006 Tioga 30U, with a Class C floorplan that can’t be beat. This RV runs on a Ford Triton 6.8L, V10 engine to cruise Alberta’s highways at leisure.
A couple’s coach you get two slides here, the first at the front for the sofa with safety belts included. When deployed, this slide allows for great living space between the sofa and booth dinette. Now, thankfully both of these convert, letting the entertainment center to fill the space over the cab instead of a bunk. There’s some extra storage, a TV, and an old-school VCR/DVD player. Isn’t that a blast from the past.
For the kitchen, you’ll be happy to know that nothing was left behind. You’ve got a 3-burner stove with a 17” oven, convection microwave, and 8 cu-ft fridge paired with a pantry that has pull out drawers. Additional cabinets fill out the rest of this corner space, and there are covers for the double basin sink with a flip-up counter extension for prep room.
Splitting the cabin, you have the bathroom with the shower stall to one side and the water closet to the other. The really great thing about this set-up is that they took the opportunity to expand the vanity and the medicine cabinet. Now you get extra drawers under the counter and a second cupboard in the medicine cabinet along with the one behind the mirror!
Completing this RV, the rear bedroom has the second slide for the queen-bed. Shelves under the windows on either side of the slide make for great nightstands with personal lamps overhead for a little late-night reading. Then, you get your major storage across from the bed. One side has a large wardrobe with lots of hanging space and drawers underneath, the other has a vanity space and overhead cabinets.
You do deserve to know there is a crack in the bathroom floor vinyl by the shower. It’s only about 8” long, but we want to keep you aware. Of course, if that doesn’t work for you, no worries. We have plenty of other units for you to check out!
