Well hello tent trailer! This 2009 Coleman Highlander keeps you in nature without having to be in nature, you know what I mean?
This bumper pull trailer packs down neatly for travel, but folds out with a king bed on each side, each with privacy curtains. And there’s a slide, believe it or not, pushing out the booth dinette for more space inside so you can stretch out your legs if you’re sitting on the L-shaped sofa. Opposite the dinette the galley kitchen will look over camp (although you’ll get great views from all around as is a perk of a tent trailer), with a double-basin sink, 3-burner stove, 17” oven, and microwave, plus a 4.2 cu-ft fridge. Nice right? Well, there’s an additional 2-burner pull-out stove top outside too. How many tents can boast those kinds of cooking options huh?
Of course, like a regular old tent, most tent trailers don’t have much of a bathroom. Ready for this? This rig has a wet bath (with a door, oh yes) with the shower and toilet. It’s got decent enough elbow room that you won’t have to worry about packing up your shower caddy to make use of the camp facilities if you don’t want to.
Now just so you know we took a close look at this trailer and there is some minor water damage to the roof. It only affects the vinyl, and there’s absolutely no mold. Of course, if that doesn’t work for you, no worries. We have plenty of other rigs for you to check out!
