This family toy hauler will sleep 8 people, in three different spaces, and still leave room for toys and a full kitchen. When you need those residential amenities, check out this 2009 Heartland Cyclone 3950.

It’s the Thursday before the long weekend and you’re packing up to hit the road early, and everyone has their role for loading. In the 12’ garage you’ve got the ramp down to roll in the toys. The two queen bunks are away to make room for everything and you’ve already filled the drink fridge and strapped down the washer/dryer unit for safety. You’ll also note back here that there is a screen curtain to keep the ramp down during the day at camp, without fear of mosquitoes and a half bath with a toilet and vanity!

There’s no trouble separating the garage from the living space in this trailer, with a solid door between the two you can easily close it away with the toys packed up or as a private bedroom. There’s also more sleeping space in the loft over the entrance, so get one or two of the kids putting their blankets and pillows up there on the two single beds, and storing their things on the shelves at the head of each. It’s not a hassle with a built-in ladder and privacy curtains for each side to give the kids their own space.

Now the great thing about toy haulers like this is the extra height for the ceiling, it works with the U-dinette slide to make the whole area feel bigger with some high windows. Opposite the big dinette you get an extra lounge seat for anyone who doesn’t feel like being elbow to elbow with their younger siblings. Together yet apart, the best way to spend downtime during family vacations, and this way no one will miss dinner. You get a big, full kitchen here; the U-shape gives you lots of extra counter space as well as tons of storage – some of which pull out for super easy organization, check the spice rack next to the 3-burner stove and 17” oven. Your Costco trip is filling up all those cabinets and the 8 cu-ft fridge, and in a pinch if somehow you run out of cabinet space you can also use the microwave and double-basin sink. Pro tip: putting stuff in the sink during travel can keep things from flying around the kitchen counter.

If the kitchen and garage are the most important priorities during your load-up, the bedroom can sometimes be forgotten and that is a mistake! We get it, a lot of the storage in trailers is usually in the middle and rear, but here you get plenty of space in the master bedroom and front bath! Starting with the smaller of the two, the bathroom has a glass, neo-angle shower, vanity, and foot-flush toilet. Then you get a mirrored medicine cabinet and tall linen cupboard for lots of convenient storage. Like I said, you can get all of your towels, soaps, toilet paper, and whatever else you need packed in with ease and not worry about trying to find your shampoo in the kitchen cabinets. So, if that’s the bathroom, what’s the bedroom like?

Well, it has a lovely queen bed slide that your lovely partner has probably already put fresh sheets on because they thought ahead even further than you (and you know I’m right, they’re reading this over your shoulder and nodding). The bedroom is easily the simplest to organize with its dresser at the end of the bed and a font cap wardrobe, again probably already good to go, so now you just have to bring up the garage ramp and hit the road because there’s no time to waste!

This unit also comes with a DSI water heater (12-gal), ducted A/C, power leveling, 2 power awnings, 2 solar panels (between 150-200W), 3 Fantastic fans, gas genset (5500W/659 hours), tinted windows, Air Ride hitch, exterior speakers, fuel pump with station, slide toppers, aluminum wheels, spare tire, central vacuum, and pass-thru storage.
