Bigger on the inside, this 2009 Sunset Trail 27RE welcomes you into a homey, fall-studded floor plan with tons of storage and comfort.
The back of this rig has two opposing slides to open up the rear living space. In one slide is the large convertible U-dinette with storage under each of the benches. There’s lots of windows all around this rig for tons of natural light, and you’ll get a great view no matter which way you’re facing.
Whether you’re having dinner, or curling up in the cozy sofa nook, you’ve got a good angle for the rear entertainment center. It has a large bank of upper and lower cabinets, a spread of counter space, and a mounted TV. Then of course we move into the kitchen. While it doesn’t have a huge amount of counter space, there are covers for each side of the double basin sink to help you out (and the dinette table is handy too). There is also a 2-burner stove, 17” oven, and microwave for cooking. For storage, it’s got a 6 cu-ft fridge and a massive pantry opposite.
Up the stairs, the dual entry bathroom has been kept pristine with a corner glass-surround shower and foot-flush toilet. There are two mirrored medicine cabinets, a corner vanity, and big wardrobe for more storage for linen and clothing.
Finally, the master bedroom in this rig continues to pull in seasonal fall colors with a padded headboard and matching cover for the queen bed. There are wardrobes on either side and an overhead shelf for storage, plus a shelf for a TV if you’d like or as a great place to keep a few odds and ends or books out of the way.
This well-maintained rig has kept up to date with its amenities: the foam in the sofa and dinette was replaced in 2022, the flooring was also updated in 2022; the living room TV is new as of 2021, and the queen mattress is new too.
There is a bit of exterior wear and tear, so you don’t get a surprise: the decals are faded and cracked in places with some delamination on the front cap. There is a crack in the skirting on the passenger side slide, with the wheel arch panel cracked on the driver side.
