When checking out reliable but beautiful rigs, you have a few absolutes on your checklist: space, light, storage, comfort. Well say hello to the 2014 Arctic Fox-Silver Fox Edition 32.5M.
This beautifully built unit has more than just the basic amenities for a weekend jaunt – in fact I’d wager you could spend the whole season in this rig without getting antsy.
At the front of the rig the master bedroom has a king bed slide, complete with headboard and underbed storage as well as individual reading lights. Across is the dresser and private mounted TV, with the large mirror-door wardrobe in the very front cap – including a shoe shelf inside – beside a cabinet with shelf storage and prep was a washer/dryer.
The bedroom also has the secondary entrance to the bathroom. Here, you’ll find plenty of shelf storage along with the vanity, and mirrored medicine cabinet. And for the nights you want to get a little more dolled up – maybe a fancy-schmancy dinner in Banff – there’s a ring mirror by the sink to get a little more detailed. Additionally, the bathroom has a large corner glass-surround shower, foot-flush toilet, and additional overhead cabinet storage.
Mid-cabin, this rig is served by a residential style kitchen with extended counter space and tons of cupboard and drawer storage. Here you will also find the dual-sided stainless-steel sink with a spray nozzle tap, 3-burner stove, convection microwave, 21” oven, and dual-door 12 cu-ft fridge. There’s plenty of space for regular grocery runs and everything from snacks, to meal staples and leftovers!
Finally, at the rear the living space is filled with huge windows and has two opposing slides to allow for plenty of room. In one slide, you’ll see the four-chair free-standing dinette beside the fireplace and mounted TV. There’s even additional counter space here for decor or storage. In the opposite slide (along with a portion of the kitchen) is the leather sofa bed with overhead storage, and right in between with their backs to the massive picture window are two leather, swivel armchairs for ideal lounging, conversation, or quiet contemplation. You won’t be sacrificing comfort or style here.
And of course, you’ll be confirming all of this yourself so you may notice there is a bit of cosmetic damage on the exterior in the form of a scrape along the skirting at the back by the dinette slide. A little buff and polish should fix that if it bugs you though!
