Stay sane in this 2014 Eagle 334RBTS; with tons of space, a bunkhouse, massive kitchen, and queen-sized bed this rig is ready for long hauls with the whole family – and you’ll all make it home with your sanity intact! Casual campers need not apply!
This three-slide wonder welcomes your family mid-cabin into a residential style living area. Unlike other campers, your kids won’t dread having to share space with any siblings, because there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out, limiting the number of close-proximity induced headaches. Mid cabin is your living area and kitchen; the living area includes a tri-fold sofa for a primo nap spot. Across from the couch is the TV and CD/DVD player entertainment system with a small cabinet area for storage. You can introduce the kids to CDs and DVDs and watch as their eyes light up in terror at not having Netflix or Spotify available for streaming. Make sure everything on board is a sitcom from the 80s or 90s to really sell it!
Beside the couch is the booth dinette (yet another convertible sleeping area by the way). It has overhead pot lights for cozy evenings playing board games, or cloudy mornings waiting for the kids to wake up. We recommend cooking bacon to make it easy to get the kids out of bed, the entrance to the bunk room was placed here for a reason after all.
The bunk room can sleep an additional three people comfortably, and gives the kids their own private space. For the younger tots, it’s great for nap time because you won’t have to put them in the master room just to dim the lights and avoid a meltdown. You’ve got two permanent top bunks here, one on either side, with a dinette under the second that makes for a great kid’s table or play area and converts into that third bed with ease! And don’t worry, that second upper bunk can be held up so no one will hit their head sitting at the table. The kids also have their own storage here under one of the bunks and at the back of the room for great organization, with most areas easily reached by even the most vertically challenged so they can do their own tidying!
Back in the kitchen for the previously mentioned bacon cooking (yet another key to staying sane on a family trip: bacon), you’ve got enough counter space to open a 5-star restaurant or at least cook for the whole family and the dog without calamity. An L-shaped layout, you’ve got your dual sided sink to one side with under counter and overhead cupboards. Parallel is the stove, oven, and microwave, with more counter space, storage up and down and a 10 cu-ft Norcold fridge. That alone would be great, but that wasn’t enough for this rig, no, you’ve also got the island counter that doubles as your pantry. Both ends of the island swing open to reveal hidden shelves and the front has a dual-doored cupboard. Without the sink in the island like many other rigs, you get maximum counter space and storage!
Forward in the rig is the bathroom and master bedroom. The bathroom makes the most of its space with an angled counter to create more floor area. It’ll be a lot easier if your kids still need help bathing, mom or dad can fit in comfortably by the shower to make sure they wash behind their ears! The bathroom is complete with under counter storage, a medicine cabinet, toilet, and a big enough corner shower to fit a small, portable tub for said kiddos. Do note that the skylight in the bathroom is cracked in two places, so we knocked off a couple grand for it.
Finally, we come to the master suite, the child free haven, the adult oasis. Block out the offspring with the swinging door, and keep your own things separate from where any sticky fingers can get to in either of the mirrored wardrobes, the overhead cupboards, or in the underbed storage. You each even have a side table for your convenience. No climbing over each other for your glasses in the morning!
And we haven’t even discussed the exterior! You’ve got thru-storage at the front of the rig, outdoor speakers for jamming by the fire, a power awning to keep cool, and an exterior kitchen complete with fridge, sink, and stove so you don’t have to go inside and miss out on the gorgeous weather just to make dinner or grab a snack! Aesthetically, the front cap has faded, but really how often are you going to be looking at your rig from the front while at camp? Let’s face it you’ll be too busy making s’mores by the fire to care!
This perfect family escape is waiting for you now!
