You know what word gets a bad rap? Downsizing. Why, I ask you, is it so wrong to want a simpler living space, especially for camping? If a tent trailer is perfect for young families, then the 2012 Bigfoot 25C9.4 truck camper is ideal for couples and solo adventurers who love the outdoors but with a roof over your head at night. For you, a trailer is home base, where the drinks stay cold and the shower is hot – and, if it starts to rain, where you can cook inside.
Thankfully, the entire back of this RV is dedicated to the kitchen and dinette, with windows on all three sides for a great 270-degree view. Even when you have to be inside, you won’t feel like you’re stuck in your regular old house. But you don’t have to sacrifice some of those extra bonuses of using a camper instead of a tent just to get extra elbow room. You still have a 6 cu-ft fridge and 3-burner stove, with a ton of counter space that, I don’t know about you, but I am impressed to find in a rig under 20-feet.
So just how is that room available, well a little clever redesign in this layout puts both the fridge and wet bath before the cabover queen bunk area. Most of the time you’d find the bath at the back, but not here. And you still maintain a spacious bunk too! It kinda feels bigger on the inside if I’m being honest, with lots of storage nooks and crannies throughout (particularly surrounding the bed) and a closet across from the bath which makes keeping your towel dry a breeze. And really, isn’t that the biggest hang-up when it comes to smaller rigs?
Stay dry, stay warm, stay free – don’t concern yourself with slides or tongue jacks when you can load up the Bigfoot and head out!
Already winterized!
This unit also comes with power leveling, tinted thermal pane windows, roof rack, DSI water heater (6-gal), solar panel (80W), heated tanks, Fantastic fan, roof ladder, exterior shower, and CD player.
